Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our 1951 Churn Creek location in Redding, CA. The Teller will perform daily banking transactions with accuracy and confidentiality, building relationships and identifying opportunities to offer bank products and services.

With guidance from Branch leadership, the role emphasizes Breakthrough Client Service Standards, compliance, and risk mitigation while supporting referral goals and delivering proactive

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all bank policies, procedures, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process night drop deposits.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, transfers, check cashing, and payments.
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding cash and ensuring funds are transferred promptly.
• Identify client needs and refer appropriate products/services to the right partners.
