Job summary

Columbia Bank in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. Under guidance from Branch leadership, you will support daily operations and uphold Breakthrough Client Service Standards.

You will build relationships by identifying client needs and offering suitable bank products, while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with written numbers, words, and instructions.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer, process deposits/ withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions.
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding money in cash drawer and transferring funds as needed.
• Interact with clients, identify needs, and offer appropriate banking products and services.
• Support branch goals and maintain compliance with bank procedures and regulations.
