Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients in Redmond, Oregon. You will perform teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality, balance cash, and identify client needs to offer appropriate banking products and services.

Under guidance from branch leadership, you will maintain transactions per bank procedures and regulations, promote a high standard of service, and contribute to branch risk control and client relationship growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience is preferred.
• Bilingual optional.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with written numbers, words, and instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, check cashing, and balance cash drawer.
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding cash and transferring funds when needed.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Adhere to Columbia Bank Breakthrough Client Service Standards and branch procedures.
