Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our Redondo Beach, CA location. You will perform teller transactions accurately and uphold Breakthrough Client Service Standards while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience, preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with written numbers, words, and verbal and written instructions.
• Consistently demonstrates ability and willingness to build relationships with clients and other bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling functions for clients with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Accurately performs daily tasks that maintain branch integrity.
• Mitigate risk by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
• Interacts with clients, anticipates needs, and provides proactive solutions in line with service standards.
• Continuously deepens knowledge of Columbia Bank's products and services.
• Discusses and uncovers customer financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services.
• Supports branch referral goals by identifying and referring basic bank products.
