Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients at our Santa Rosa branch. Under supervision, you will perform routine banking transactions, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and help deepen client relationships through meaningful conversations.

The role emphasizes compliance, risk mitigation, and product referrals to meet branch goals. Prior banking or customer service experience is preferred, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and support daily branch tasks to maintain integrity.
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding cash in drawer and prompt transfer of funds.
• Engage clients, identify needs, and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of Columbia Bank products and stay updated on changes.
• Refer basics to the appropriate business partner to support branch goals.
