Job summary

Element is hiring a Billing Client Experience Partner in Owings Mills, MD to serve as the primary billing contact for an assigned portfolio of clients. You will manage inquiries, explain invoices, and coordinate issue resolution to ensure a positive client experience.

You will collaborate with Billing Operations, Finance, and Client Success, analyze billing activity, and support continuous process improvements while upholding service standards and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in billing operations, finance operations, client service, customer support, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze billing information and identify routine discrepancies.
• Experience using billing systems, case management systems, reporting tools, or similar business applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple client requests while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned client billing relationships and serve as primary billing contact while ensuring proactive communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Research and resolve billing inquiries by reviewing invoices, transactions, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with Billing Operations, Finance, Collections, Client Success and other partners to resolve issues and communicate clearly.
• Analyze billing activity to identify variances, recurring issues, or trends affecting clients.
• Collaborate with the Billing Business Analyst to translate data insights into client-ready explanations.
