Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Relationship Banker in the Los Angeles area to acquire, manage, and retain client relationships. You will advise clients on banking solutions, leverage technology like Chase Mobile and Chase.com, and collaborate with specialists to address financial needs.

The role requires licensing and weekend/evening hours, supporting compliance and client satisfaction. As a trusted advisor, you will learn products rapidly, provide attentive service, and grow a portfolio of clients

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients – elevate the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with ability to tailor features and benefits to clients.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet risk and compliance obligations, including required training.
• The SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements; licensed within 180 days if unlicensed.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
