Job summary

Vector Talent Solutions is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Systems Engineer to join a leading MSP in the Gastonia area. You will support multiple client environments, handle Windows Server and desktop configurations, and assist with migrations while delivering top-tier customer service.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, excellent communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic managed services setting.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 to 4 years of IT infrastructure or systems support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Windows desktop environments.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and TCP/IP.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across multiple client environments
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and TCP/IP networking
• Assist with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 migrations
• Support virtualization platforms including Hyper-V and VMware
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues
• Document client environments, configurations, and technical procedures
• Work directly with clients to resolve technical issues while delivering exceptional customer service
• Manage multiple priorities across support requests and project work
• Recommend technology improvements and infrastructure upgrades when appropriate
