• Approximately 2 to 4 years of IT infrastructure or systems support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Windows desktop environments.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and TCP/IP.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across multiple client environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and TCP/IP networking.
• Assist with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 migrations.
• Support virtualization platforms including Hyper-V and VMware.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues.
• Document client environments, configurations, and technical procedures.
• Work directly with clients to resolve technical issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Manage multiple priorities across support requests and project work.
• Recommend technology improvements and infrastructure upgrades when appropriate.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their growing technical team in the Gastonia area. This is a client-facing role supporting multiple business environments, providing exposure to a wide range of technologies and infrastructure projects.
