Job summary

COURSER, a growth-focused MSP, is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage and support client IT infrastructure in an MSP setting. The role covers servers, networks, virtualization, cloud services, and security, with emphasis on uptime and robust performance.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering, strong knowledge of Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure for client organizations.
• Deploy and manage operating systems, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Monitor servers and networks to ensure uptime and performance.
• Implement security best practices, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
• Provide technical support and act as escalation point for complex issues.
