Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our team. The consultant will be assigned to the end user for the duration of the engagement and work with the end user to define the daily activities.

The role requires extensive experience in LAN/WAN consulting and network security, with Fortinet product familiarity and strong communication skills. This full-time position is US-based with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

7+ years experience in LAN/WAN /Internet consulting, support and/or administration
5+ years experience with Network Security Products
2+ years experience with Fortinet products
Experience as a Professional Services Consultant/ Engineer a plus
Solid understanding of security and networking principles and technologies

Responsibilities

Assisting client staff with day to day Fortinet products operation/ support
Development of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates
Development of test plans and test new features and/or releases
Verifying configurations and implementing best practices
Performing interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet products
Training and knowledge transfer to client staff
Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologies
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
