Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Professional Services Consultant II to lead and support software implementation engagements for financial institution clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing product expertise, business process guidance, training, configuration support, and end-to-end implementation consulting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of professional services, consulting, software implementation, banking technology, or related experience.
• Experience working directly with clients in a customer-facing consulting role.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Experience conducting requirements gathering, business process analysis, training, and solution configuration.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client implementation and consulting engagements.
• Conduct discovery sessions and document business requirements.
• Configure and validate software solutions to meet client needs.
• Deliver end-user and administrator training.
• Provide implementation recommendations and best practices.
• Support testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation follow-up.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve client adoption and utilization of solutions.
