Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizing productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service; educate clients about health and services.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, enter pet information, and ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, prescriptions, and scheduling.
• Manage finances with proper opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
