Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to streamline client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and ensure a welcoming, efficient experience. You will educate clients on wellness plans and services while maintaining patient records and assisting with scheduling and invoicing.

The role emphasizes client communication, clinical support, and professional service in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography duties.
• One year related experience with customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times; welcome clients and pets and educate them about their pet's health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation and entering pet information and history.
• Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage the finances by maintaining accurate balances and following opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other job duties as assigned.
