Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in San Jose, CA is seeking an AveannaCare Specialist/Coordinator to support AveannaCare users—participants, clients, care providers, and reimbursement recipients—and ensure smooth operations. You will assist users by email, phone, computer or in person.

Key responsibilities include handling calls, maintaining punch and attendance in AveannaCare, managing client and employee service accounts, running reports in a SQL environment, and meeting payroll and billing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Strong payroll and/or customer service experience within the last four years.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; self-driven, motivated and results oriented.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills.
• Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and ability to learn Aveanna’s proprietary software.
• Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously; strong organizational skills.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle incoming calls.
• Maintain and review punch and attendance entries within AveannaCare.
• Maintain and update Employee & Client Service Accounts in AveannaCare.
• Run AveannaCare reports and process data imports as needed, including in a SQL report environment.
• Adhere to payroll /billing cut offs and deadlines.
• Follow up with regional centers, families, and care providers as needed.
• Complete Special Incident Reports (SIRs) and follow through on SIR instructions per Regional Center guidelines.
• Resolve payroll / punch issues or concerns.
