Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular or Temporary full-time Customer Service/Teller Associate to provide timely client transactions and maintain accurate records. The role focuses on delivering superior service while identifying financial needs and supporting IRM activities.

The position requires a high school diploma and teller or client service experience, with strong interpersonal skills. Flexibility for travel and weekend hours is sometimes needed; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and facilitate transactions while identifying client needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATM, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support team sales through outbound calls and referrals to branch team members or specialists.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Pursue ongoing knowledge through training and product knowledge meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
