Job summary

Intertek in Elmendorf, Texas is seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales - Client Champion to drive direct sales for Testing & Certification services in the Building & Construction Products space. The role focuses on increasing existing sales and developing new business with manufacturers and influencers.

The position offers a base wage of $25.00-$26.00 per hour plus a Quarterly Order Incentive Bonus, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Building and Construction Products industry.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and MS Office; prior CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer inquiries and process quotations and opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer needs within the CRM system.
• Follow up on all proposals.
• Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling and leveraging existing client connections.
• Track sales activities, quoting, orders won and revenue generated in the CRM.
• Define and develop territory with Sales Management to grow new and existing sales.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to support opportunities.
• Conduct facility tours and respond promptly to customer requests.
