Job summary

Intertek in Kent, WA is seeking an Inside Sales - Client Champion to grow our Building & Construction business. You will handle direct sales, develop new opportunities, and sell Testing & Certification services to manufacturers and influencers in the Building Product space.

The role offers a base hourly wage of $25.00–$26.00 plus a Quarterly Order Incentive Bonus, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Building and Construction Products industry.
• 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of PCs, MS Office, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming customer inquiries and process quotations and opportunities.
• Prepare proposals based on customer needs within the CRM system.
• Follow up on all proposals and conduct prospecting (cold calls and existing connections).
• Track sales activities, quoting, orders won and revenue generated in the CRM.
• Define and develop territory with Sales Management to grow new and existing sales.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to support opportunities.
