Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in the United States is seeking a Universal Banker to provide a distinctive client experience, educate clients on digital banking, and support sales with outreach. The role requires handling transactions, building client relationships, and following risk management policies.

You will participate in leadership routines, advance product knowledge, and work with weekend or extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation and facilitating transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by participating in client outreach and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge for serving clients and prospects.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies and risk management; stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution; handle workload per branch demands.
