Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking an Event Management Associate for the Client Center to be the primary contact for clients planning meetings and coordinate with event partners to ensure flawless execution.

You will manage event logistics, facilitate communications, and resolve issues promptly while maintaining composure under pressure. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in hospitality/event planning are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 4+ years in Hospitality, 5-Star Hotels, Event Planning or Food & Beverage with high-touch service.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to manage guest experiences with tact and diplomacy.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of EMS booking system and AV basics.
• Flexibility to cover conference center hours and locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee meetings and events within the designated center with internal partners to exceed client expectations.
• Provide high-touch service by greeting clients daily and managing client interactions.
• Handle day-to-day challenges and drive effective solutions while maintaining a positive client experience.
• Participate in daily operations meetings and weekly reviews to stay informed on events.
• Coordinate pre- and post-conference calls/meetings and manage details effectively.
• Master the EMS system to detail reservations and generate reports.
• Communicate with planning teams and reservation holders throughout the booking process.
