Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health's Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is seeking a full-time Client Care Specialist to join our front desk team in San Diego. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and accurate handling of documents and records. Shifts: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Pay ranges from $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, negotiable based on education and experience. You will educate clients, process appointments and payments, and support a caring hospital

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive working relationships.
• Proven effective communication and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to recognize and seek guidance in client-related cases where protocol does not apply.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner.
• Prepare and review documents and medical records accurately and completely.
• Educate and advise clients regarding hospital services and practices.
• Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while ensuring high quality of care and satisfaction.
• Process admissions and discharges accurately; schedule follow-up appointments as necessary.
• Process invoices and payments accurately.
• Update and maintain client/pet records and files in accordance with hospital policies.
• Assist with other administrative duties as required.
