Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Tennessee seeks a Regular teller or client service associate to provide timely transactions and accurate record-keeping. You will engage clients, explain digital banking options, and support relationship-building efforts.

You will handle outbound calls, assist with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM), and ensure adherence to internal controls while delivering a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through training and product updates.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
