Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular full-time teller/support specialist in Nashville to provide timely client transactions and maintain accurate records. You will educate clients on digital banking, support outbound outreach, and work within Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, multi-tasking, and strong customer service, with weekend and extended hours as needed. Training and benefits are provided for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound outreach and client needs identification, referring to branch team members as needed.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay informed on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution; handle branch workload accordingly.
