Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks.
• Features include ergonomic seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, large refrigerators, auxiliary power units, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios.
• On-site repair and wash facilities.

Pay

Start pay: .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles. Additional pays for detention, layover, etc. Average weekly pay: $2,600 - $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our area. Some may stay out longer with additional days off. Home time is agreed upon in writing before hiring and honored. Accommodations for personal events are considered.

Loads & Routes

• 98% freight originates in MO, mostly drop and hook.
• Types: dry van, reefer (no slaughterhouses or fresh meat).
• Routes mainly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NY City and ports/borders.
• No dedicated routes; operates on major highways, mostly contracted freight.

Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger, 12+ years old, available from day 1.
• Canine policy: $500 fee, 2 small or 1 large dog, weekly deduction until paid, non-refundable once placed.
