About Climate Express

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We operate with 200 company drivers who help supply families across America with essential household goods. Our fleet includes safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong together, capable of getting things done.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760 models, automatic transmission. Features include ergonomically designed seats, adjustable steering, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, larger built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W power inverters, dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, onsite maintenance facilities, and wash bays.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is $2,600-$3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some drivers may have longer runs with up to 4 days off, based on prior agreement. Home time needs should be communicated to dispatch; we strive to accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop-and-hook. The freight includes dry van and reefer loads, primarily in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no force dispatch west of Denver, no ports, no borders. Routes primarily involve major highways, with a mix of contracted dry van and reefer freight. We operate with pilot and Flying J fueling points.

Rider & Canine Policies

Passengers aged 12 and older are allowed from day one. Pets are permitted with a $500 fee for up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog; a weekly deduction of $100 until paid, non-refundable once placed. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
