Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvo is the safest truck on the road!
• Ergonomically designed seats and perfectly positioned steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units (manual power inverter with 3500W)
• Dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site repair facility and wash bay

Pay

Start pay: $0.55 - $0.58 CPM, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay: $2,600 - $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our area. Some may stay out longer and get up to 4 days off. Home time is confirmed in writing before hiring and honored. Flexibility for personal needs is considered.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in MO; over 55% is drop and hook. Mostly dry van and reefer loads, no NY City or ports. Mostly contracted freight on major highways. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J.

Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger, 12+ years, available immediately
• Canine policy: $500 fee, 2 small or 1 large dog, weekly deduction until paid, no refunds after placement
