Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvos are the safest truck on the road!
• Ergonomically designed seats and position-perfect steering
• 70" L /96 W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, Auxiliary power units (manual power inverter with 3500W), Dual antennas, Flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site repair facility, wash bay for truck and trailer washes

Pay

Start pay: .55cpm - .58cpm. Paid loaded or empty on practical miles. Detention, layover, and additional pay vary by load and driver hours. Raises & bonuses, with an average of $2600-$3200 weekly. Paid weekly via direct deposit. Work this week, get paid next. No hold.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our running area. Some areas may allow longer stays out with up to 4 days off. Home time is communicated in writing before hiring and honored. Drivers can notify dispatch of home time needs. Accommodations for special events and appointments are considered.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in MO. Over 55% is drop and hook. The rest is 1 pick-1 drop, dry van (palletized) or reefer (climate-controlled). Most routes are in the US middle corridor, avoiding NY City, ports, and borders. Mostly contracted freight, with a mix of dry van and reefer loads. No dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

• 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1
• $500 pet fee, with options for small or large dogs, deductions until paid off, non-refundable once placed
