Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! Our 200 company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team, strong together, capable of getting things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks
• Ergonomically designed seats and optimal steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers
• Pull-out tabletop and larger refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units with built-in manual power inverter (3500W)
• Dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site repair facility and wash bay

Pay

Start pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and load-specific bonuses. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. No hold on payments.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Some may stay out longer with additional compensation. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and will be documented. Drivers can notify dispatch of specific home time needs. We aim to accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. The rest are 1 pick-1 drop loads, mostly dry van or reefer (climate-controlled), avoiding slaughterhouses, fresh meat, ports, and borders. Freight is mainly in the US middle corridor, using major highways. No dedicated routes, with some fueling at Pilot/Flying J stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

• One passenger age 12 or older, available from day one
• Pet fee of $500, with options for small or large dogs, deduction of $100 weekly until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
