About Climate Express

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We operate with 200 company drivers, providing essential household goods to families nationwide. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, ensuring high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

2022 or newer Volvo 760 automatic trucks, considered the safest on the road, with ergonomic seats, 70" L /96 W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large refrigerators, auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site maintenance, and wash bays.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 cents per mile, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pay applies for detention, layovers, and other load-specific factors. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments. While drivers do not accrue days off weekly, we strive to accommodate individual needs.

Loads & Routes

98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over half being drop-and-hook. The freight includes dry van and reefer loads, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding New York City, ports, borders, and west of Denver, CO. Most freight is contracted, and drivers operate on major highways, with some variation for outlying areas.

Additional Policies

Rider policy allows one passenger aged 12 or older, available from day one. Canine policy permits two small or one large dog with a $500 fee, paid weekly until fully covered, non-refundable once the pet is in the truck. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
