About Climate Express

Climate Express has been transporting full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We have 200 company drivers who keep families supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

Our trucks are 2022 or newer Volvo 760 models, automatic transmission. They include ergonomic seats, optimal steering positions, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletops, large built-in refrigerators, auxiliary power units with manual inverters (3500W), dual antennas, flat-screen TV mounts, satellite radios, right-way scales, and an on-site maintenance and wash facility.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from .55 to .58 CPM, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit. There are no holdbacks.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our operating area. Outlying areas may require longer trips with up to 4 days off. Home time is confirmed in writing before hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments upon notification to dispatch.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop-and-hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mainly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, and borders. Freight is mostly contracted, run on major highways, and includes no dedicated routes. Fueling is available at Pilot/Flying J locations.

Policies

Passengers: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1.
Pets: $500 fee per pet, up to 2 small or 1 large dog, with weekly deductions until paid. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
