Overview

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We operate with 200 company drivers, providing essential household goods to families across America. Our fleet features safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern amenities, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and reliable home time. We foster a strong team environment focused on getting things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760 automatic trucks
• Ergonomically designed seats and optimized steering
• 70" L / 96" W sleepers
• Pull-out tabletop and larger refrigerators
• Auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter
• Dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios
• Right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges
• On-site maintenance, wash bay

Pay

Starting at .55cpm - .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other circumstances. Average weekly pay ranges from $2,600 to $3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days in our area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

Most freight (98%) originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop-and-hook. The rest involves 1 pick-1 drop loads. We operate dry van and reefer trailers, mostly in the US middle corridor, avoiding NYC, ports, and borders. Freight is mainly contracted, with no dedicated routes.

Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger aged 12 or older, available from day 1
• Canine policy: $500 fee, up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog, deduction of $100/week until paid, non-refundable once placed
