Job summary

CRC Group seeks a Claims Team Lead in the United States to oversee daily claims unit operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with other departments to improve processes and customer satisfaction. A relevant degree plus 5+ years of claims experience, including supervisory experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of claims experience in the insurance industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of claims processes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily workflow of the claims team to ensure goals and service standards are met.
• Review and approve complex or high-value claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Provide coaching, training, and regular feedback to claims representatives to enhance skills and performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators and report on team productivity, accuracy, and timelines.
• Serve as escalation point for claims disputes or customer concerns, resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize claims processes and improve customer experience.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend or implement efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure documentation and record-keeping meet compliance and audit requirements.
