Job summary

Security First Insurance is seeking a Claims Support Supervisor to lead the Claims Support Specialists in daily operations, ensuring accurate and timely administrative support for the Claims Department.

The role focuses on workload management, coaching, escalation handling, and vendor coordination to uphold service excellence. Strong supervision, attention to detail, and collaboration with stakeholders are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of directly related experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Claims Support Specialists and coordinate daily work assignments and priorities.
• Monitor team productivity, service levels, and workload distribution for timely task completion.
• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures.
• Serve as first escalation point for vendor management, invoice processing, bulk payments, onboarding and other admin support.
• Assist with coordinating vendor processes and maintaining vendor contacts and documentation.
• Support payroll administration, attendance, timekeeping, scheduling and related admin functions for direct reports.
• Assist the Claim Support Manager with communications, reporting and special projects.
• Identify process improvements and recommend changes to increase efficiency.
• Maintain performance metrics and prepare reports on team activities and results.
• Collaborate with Claims leadership and business partners to support initiatives and customer service goals.
