Job summary

Security First Managers, LLC is seeking a Claims Support Supervisor to oversee the Claims Support team within Security First Insurance. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant administrative support to the Claims Department, acting as the primary escalation point for staff and vendors.

Responsibilities include supervising Specialists, monitoring workloads, reviewing work quality, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of directly related experience including one (1) year of supervisory.
• Equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Claims Support Specialists and coordinates daily work assignments and priorities.
• Monitors team productivity, service levels, and workload distribution to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Reviews work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with departmental procedures.
• Escalates issues involving vendor management, invoice processing, bulk payments, onboarding activities, and other administrative support functions.
• Coordinates and monitors vendor-related processes, including maintaining vendor contact information and documentation.
• Supports payroll administration, attendance monitoring, timekeeping, scheduling, and related administrative functions for direct reports.
• Assists the Claim Support Manager with communications, reporting, and special projects.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities and recommends changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintains performance metrics and prepares reports related to team activities and operational results.
• Collaborates with Claims leadership and business partners to support departmental initiatives and customer service objectives.
