Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Windsor, CT is seeking a claims support specialist to assist customers under moderate supervision. You will engage clients, answer questions, and process financial transactions while updating important claim information.

Key responsibilities include documenting claim files, supporting payments and invoices, and coordinating with claim teams to ensure timely resolutions. A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of service-related experience OR a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year service-related experience OR a Bachelor's Degree.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, web-enabled applications and database software.
Strong accountability, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service for the claim department by addressing questions and concerns; triage and route callers as needed.
Document and support claims processes, collect reports, and prepare claim documents for reviews.
Process claim payments and related expenses, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of transactions.
Manage and update data; prepare reports and monitor information systems used by the team.
Assist with financial controls and data reconciliations; perform other duties as assigned.
