Job summary

Travelers is looking for a Claims Support role in New Jersey. Under moderate supervision, you will assist customers, manage claim-related data and support payments and reporting within the claims team.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with multiple departments, and adherence to company processes. A high school diploma or higher is required, with prior service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of service-related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong communication and analytical thinking required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer service representative for the claim department, addressing questions and triaging callers.
• Document and manage claim files, including notes, diaries, reports and medical records.
• Process claim payments and associated expenses accurately and timely.
• Maintain data accuracy and generate reports using available systems and tools.
• Support financial controls and data reconciliations within the claims team.
• May lift items up to 20 pounds and perform other duties as assigned.
