Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week for a full-time summer internship in 2027.
• One-year full-time customer service and/or claims intake experience preferred; insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive initial claim information from customers by phone, email, or fax.
• Provide information on loss reporting options and determine appropriate policy coverage.
• Document facts of loss in the computer system and respond to internal and external requests.
• Interpret coverage and issue claim decisions for engagements.
• Review and update intake processes and procedures.
