Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. in Piketon, Ohio seeks a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead the engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications at the ACP site.

You will ensure structural integrity for new and existing systems from design through turnover. The role requires collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams to integrate loads and layouts, produce detailed calculations and drawings, and support field activities with robust documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design, analysis, and field support.
• Knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural engineering for site modifications, performing complex analyses for static and dynamic loads.
• Develop, review, and redline design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams to ensure proper integration of loads and layouts.
• Support construction through field walkdowns, RFIs/RFCs, and as-built updates with strong configuration control and safety compliance.
• Develop procurement packages (ROMs, SOWs) for subcontracted fabrication and installation.
