Job summary

Centrus Energy is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications at the ACP in Piketon, Ohio. You will ensure structural systems meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards from design to turnover.

Responsibilities include designing foundations, steel, and equipment anchorage, coordinating with ME, E, and I&C teams, and supporting field execution with strong configuration control and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of structural design/analysis experience, preferably in regulated industrial or nuclear environments.
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications, considering wind, seismic, vibration, and thermal effects.
• Develop, review, and redline design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams for load paths and layout constraints.
• Support field execution, RFIs/RFCs, and as-built updates with strict configuration control.
• Prepare procurement packages (ROMs, SOWs) for fabrication and installation.
