Job summary

Centrus Energy in Piketon, Ohio seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead the engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical environment. You will ensure structural steel, foundations, and equipment supports meet high standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance from design to turnover.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
5+ years of experience in structural design, analysis, and field support in regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications, including static/dynamic loads.
Develop and review design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams for loads, penetrations, and layouts.
Support field activities, RFIs/RFCs, and as-built updates with strict configuration control and safety compliance.
Prepare procurement packages and support bid evaluations for fabrication and installation.
