Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is hiring a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to shape the energy infrastructure at the Piketon, Ohio facility. You will lead design and analysis of foundations, steel, and equipment supports, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance through design to turnover.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate loads and guide field execution, while developing procurement packages and ensuring constructability in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of professional experience in structural design, analysis, and field support.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes (AISC, ACI) and seismic requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications, including wind, seismic, vibration, and thermal effects.
• Develop and review design packages (drawings, specs, calculations) for foundations, steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams to integrate loads and layouts.
• Support field activities: walkdowns, RFIs/RFCs, as-built updates, and maintaining configuration control.
• Prepare procurement packages (ROMs, SOWs) for fabrication and installation.
