Job summary

Centrus Energy in Piketon, Ohio is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical environment.

You will bridge design concepts and field execution, ensuring structural steel, foundations, and equipment supports meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards from design to turnover.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of structural design, analysis, and field support experience.
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for site modifications, including static and dynamic loads.
• Develop, review, and redline design packages for foundations, steel, and anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams for loads and penetrations.
• Support construction through field walkdowns, RFIs, and as-built updates.
• Prepare procurement packages (ROMs/SOWs) for subcontracted fabrication and installation.
