Job summary

Stantec’s multi-disciplinary office in South Florida has an opportunity for a highly motivated Project Engineer – Site/Civil Engineering. You will work on land development projects, interact with clients and government agencies, and lead a design team to deliver site, grading, drainage, erosion control and utility plans with accompanying reports.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of civil/site design experience, and a FL Professional Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
• 5+ years of civil/site design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare site, grading, drainage, erosion control and utility plans.
• Prepare design reports and supporting calculations.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal team and external clients/consultants.
• Support client management and business development activities.
