Job summary

Jobot is recruiting a Civil Litigation Attorney to join a Georgia-focused government-law practice handling civil rights, employment, contract, tort and premises liability matters for cities, counties, and authorities across the state.

The attorney will manage cases from pre-litigation to trial, collaborate with veteran government-law colleagues, and serve a stable, billable workload with a hybrid schedule after 90 days (2 remote days/week).

Qualifications

• 3 to 12 years of civil litigation experience.
• Active and good standing Georgia bar license required.
• Strong academic background and written communication skills.
• Stable work history preferred.
• Local government law experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent local government entities in civil litigation matters including civil rights, employment, contract disputes, tort, and premises liability.
• Handle cases across all stages from pre-litigation through trial.
• Work alongside experienced government law attorneys on complex, multi-faced matters governed by local, state, and federal law.
• Serve a recession-resistant client base with consistent workflow across economic cycles.
