Job summary

Jobot is seeking an attorney with 2-8 years of civil litigation experience in Georgia to manage matters from inception through resolution. The role offers a hybrid schedule (2 days remote), mentorship from experienced trial attorneys, and a high-volume, client-focused practice.

You will handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, and hearings, while maintaining 1920 billable hours and contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented firm culture.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar license or ability to obtain licensure promptly.
• 2-8 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in civil litigation, employment law, government-related matters, land use, property disputes, or similar practice areas is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trial proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys on complex litigation matters.
• Manage case deadlines and maintain high-quality client service throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain 1920 billable hour annual requirement.
