Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, invites a Civil Engineering Intern to join a project team and support civil and structural design tasks for substations and infrastructure. You'll work under supervision while learning industry standards and practical site experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with drawings, wind load calculations, and applying NESC/IEEE/ANSI/AISC/ACI standards. Travel to project sites may be required, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Power/line focus preferred.
• Prior internship in power field is a plus.
• Ability to work under supervision and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil and structural design documents and drawings.
• Perform wind load calculations and structural analyses.
• Learn and apply standards: NESC, IEEE, ANSI, AISC, ACI.
• Support site visits to gain hands-on knowledge.
