Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to support a project team in design and engineering for substations and infrastructure. You will work under supervision to develop civil and structural documents, perform wind load calculations, and learn standards like NESC and ACI, gaining hands-on field experience through site visits and travel as needed.

The role emphasizes quality, collaboration, and practical design judgment as you advance toward licensure

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; power focus preferred.
• EIT certificate or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Prior internship or related work experience in the power field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create or modify civil and structural design documents and drawings under supervision.
• Perform wind load calculations and structural analysis with minimal supervision.
• Learn and apply standards including NESC, IEEE, ANSI, AISC and ACI.
• Learn and use the document management system.
• Spend time at job sites to gain hands-on knowledge and training in substation construction and design.
• Travel out of town for short periods as required.
