Fuss & O’Neill in Kennebunk, ME is seeking a Civil Engineering intern to assist design teams on site development projects. The 12-week paid summer program offers real client project experience in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The internship is hybrid, with in-office collaboration and remote work part of the week, and includes opportunities to learn AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools while gaining field exposure and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred.
• Ability to perform field work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs.
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles.
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications.
• Provide construction administration support.
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro.
