Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the complete design of civil-site projects. The role will involve performing engineering tasks under general supervision, with a focus on developing design calculations, layouts, and construction plans in an industrial setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.) and may have an Engineer in Training (EIT) credential.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) registration is strongly preferred and may be required.
• Up to 1–3 years of relevant civil-site engineering experience in industrial settings; prior experience in commercial/government/infrastructure roles may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Produce low-complexity, complete design calculations and assignments.
• Provide design assistance on larger and more complex tasks.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies.
• Assist with drafting plans and details for engineering drawings.
• Perform fieldwork to gather data, check tie-ins, and provide construction support.
• Develop written construction specifications defining scope, instructions, and quality standards.
• Perform land development and zoning code research for civil-site projects.
• Identify scope changes with the discipline lead engineer.
• Review and check submittal drawings and documentation.
