Job summary

Kleinschmidt is seeking an Entry-Mid level Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team. You will develop designs and provide construction support for dam removals, embankment repairs, fish passage facilities, recreation facilities, renewable energy projects, and stream restorations.

The role offers a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in the office at various U.S. locations, and a salary range of $68,000 to $125,000 per year based on experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Erosion & sediment control and stormwater design experience needed.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and construction support.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff on all project stages from concept to bid drawings.
• Support dam removals, embankment repairs, and stream restoration designs.
• Prepare CAD drawings, notes, and quantity estimates; assist with hydraulic modeling.
